HONDA (UK) OFFERS A HELPING HAND TO THOSE LOOKING TO GET ON TWO WHEELS WITH EXCLUSIVE ‘NEW RIDER' EVENTS THIS MONTH

Honda (UK) is offering a helping hand to those wanting to try life on two wheels with exclusive ‘New Rider' Events in its motorcycle dealerships across the UK between 22nd and 25th May 2015.

The events will see each dealership offer new riders £150 towards equipment - including clothing and accessories - or to put towards a CBT course when a customer orders a 125cc or smaller motorcycle.

Nick Campolucci, Head of Motorcycles (Honda UK) comments:

"We are hugely excited about these events, which allow those thinking of getting on a motorcycle the opportunity to find out more, as well as giving them a helping hand to get kitted out or trained up. While many might think that riding is a luxury or just for the thrill seeker, we want to  illustrate the practicality of life on two wheels and how it could really benefit customers in terms of reducing commuting time or saving on petrol costs."

Michael Todd of Chelsea Honda, which will host one of the events, comments:

"Several people like the idea of riding but don't know where to start, so this type of event is perfect for getting on two wheels in a safe and sensible way. At Chelsea Honda we are really looking forward to getting more people on board and enjoying the benefits of riding."

The events follow the launch of the all new Forza 125 and CB125F, the two most economical models in the Honda range, and perfect for the new rider. Both the Forza 125 and CB125F will be available as part of the ‘Get On Board' package this May. Customer wishing to take up the offer of the £150 discount need to register online at www.honda.co.uk/newrider to receive a unique code to redeem at the event.
